Eva Bučová has been responsible for leading ING in the Czech Republic and driving its further growth in corporate banking since July 2024. Before being appointed CEO, she led the Corporate Sector Coverage team, which serves corporate clients. As the Chair of the Sustainability Committee, she contributed to the implementation of ESG principles in ING Czech Republic and supported corporate clients in their transition toward sustainability.

She is actively engaged in various external initiatives and working groups, such as the business platform “Změna k lepšímu” (Change for the Better), the Sustainable Finance Working Group at the Czech Banking Association, and Partners4Sustainability, under the auspices of the Czech-German Chamber of Industry and Commerce.

Eva joined ING in 2002 and has held managerial positions in commercial and risk management at ING in Slovakia, the Czech Republic, and the Netherlands. She further expanded her corporate banking expertise at Erste Bank, working in the Czech Republic, the United Kingdom, and Romania. She later joined the European Investment Bank (EIB) in Luxembourg, where she was responsible for corporate clients and financial institutions in Central and Southeastern Europe. She was also involved in the development of guarantee structures for banks within the European Fund for Strategic Investments. In 2017, she returned to ING Czech Republic as a senior advisor.

Her other areas of interest include energy transition, sustainable finance, and the circular economy. She enjoys spending time with her family and son Daniel, reading books about neuroscience, and is passionate about running and the longevity concept.

Eva is a graduate of the Faculty of International Trade at the University of Economics in Bratislava.
